At St. Leo’s, we embrace Christ as our LIGHT and LIFE, and an essential part of our life.
As members of the Communion of Saints (the Body of Christ), we jointly participate and share a unity of purpose and worship. With Christ as our LIGHT and our LIFE, any darkness (struggles, hardship, evil) that we experience fades in the presence of His LIGHT. Only when we recognize and accept Christ as an essential part of our lives, are we truly alive in our faith — ie, when we are full of Christ, we are full of LIFE. Jesus said: “I am the Light of the World. They who follow Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the LIGHT of LIFE.” (John 8:12)
